Sugar Rush

My kids are suffering the effects of too much sugar after Trick or treating. Here are the girls in their costumes

It was windy and cold, but they had a lot of fun. I had 8 kids at my house and everyone went trick or treating together

The wood floor in the pictures, is my new floor in the living room. They are still working on the room, and there is dust everywhere. But soon it will be done. This weekend (in between soccer practices) we will go look for furniture.Yea, even though soccer season is over, S#2 and D#1 are still playing. They are playing tournaments now.

Reading update. I usually get all my books from the library, but this week I had to breakdown and buy not 1 but 3 books. They are all part of a series. Now these books are not ones I would usually read, but they were highly recomended. When I saw that there were 19 holds in the library on the first one, I went and bought them

Twilight (Twilight, Book 1)New Moon (Twilight, Book 2)
                                 Eclipse (Twilight, Book 3)

So I’m ready to get started reading them this weekend

Cute costumes!! Cool about the new floor and furniture, too. Looking forward to hearing what you think of Twilight. I put the other 2 books on my wishlist – this is the time of year when my family gets cranky if I buy things for myself…

I checked those out too! A teen at the latest boy scout meeting told me how much she dug them-she is reading them for the 11th time or something–so I grabbed one at the library too.

Let me know what you think–hope the thrill of them does not end when you reach 21! I know I am not too old to read young adult books….

Your girls look so cute! We still have so much candy here too. I don’t know how they can live without eating it all up! I just bought Twilight for K, but she hasn’t really gotten into it yet. I like reading young adult sometimes too and I like vampire stories, so maybe I’ll give it a try. I bought hers from the Scholastic Book Club book order so it wasn’t very expensive. anyway, let us know what you think!
